We all see anime and the hard work put in by artists to bring the story to life. The characters, action scenes and background take months of hard work to finally take their space in animation. The same rule applies to the object designs of weapons, clothing and even furniture. How many of us try to visit an anime theme park, cosplay, or buy merchandise, an action figure, to feel that closeness with our favorite anime world. We can buy, rent or even better, if we are passionate enough to create one for ourselves, like Sam_Meeps did to get herself an Infinity castle coffee table.

The Passion Behind the Craft :
After the Demon Slayer finale, she set out to make a coffee table inspired by the Infinity Castle. She taught herself 3D modeling and laser cutting to make the buildings shown in the castle inside the table. It cost her time and energy to make every tiny piece, such as 30 tiny lanterns and put everything together, including gluing, sanding, staining and painting. To make everything look pleasing like the anime, she even drilled a lot of tiny holes to accommodate wire for lights and put them through those inside structures. She repeated the process for each structure. To make them look like actual demons’ residential places, she used lights and gave them a diffuse effect by using baking paper. She then assembled them carefully and placed them in a manner to have an overall prop up look so that all structures looked protruding and floating inside, just like the castle in the anime. To give the table an actual infinity-inspired look, she put a regular mirror at the bottom and a two-way mirror on top. All that effort finally gave us our live-action version of Demon Slayer Infinity Castle at home!

The Work In Progress :
She documented the process of making this table on her Instagram. She also got a lot of support and suggestions to include in her craft. With her followers desperately waiting for the final product, the whole project feels like bts of making an actual Demon Slayer live-action.
More From Sam_Meeps :
The Infinity Castle-inspired table is not her sole project. Her Instagram and YouTube channel give us more glimpses of her nerdy, cute side that is overflowing with her talent. On top of that, she is a brilliant Cosplayer, what a diva!!, who has immense knowledge of her craft and she makes her own costumes and brilliant props from scratch. The coffee table project is a small peek of her work and you can check out more of her work from her Instagram and YouTube channel. Also, she makes Mini Desk Pets that peek over your monitor – as your own monitor companion or can be your judging buddy to give you more productivity boost. CHECK OUT : screenbuddies
