Reincarnation and period style anime is not something I look forward to. Too much history and dialogues make me lose my interest quickly. This was the reason I avoided this drama as well, even if it was showing on Netflix top list. Instagram feed is what I look forward to whenever I crave some good anime. Someone made a reel appreciating this anime to the point that it made me feel like if I didn’t watch it, I would miss out on something. Moreover, how she described the plot really put my dedicated ‘one brain cell’ in fan mode, so I had to check this out. ‘Just one episode’ this is what I told myself!
Just One Episode :
A broken engagement of our main character – Rishe, who has no time to deal with this drama anymore because she got other important stuff to take care of. Cool, calm and composed, quite opposite of her fiancé, my bad – ex-fiancé, while explaining why this no longer matter to her because it’s her 7th time loop that she going through with all this drama but this time she would make a difference in her life and would choose to live at her own will. In every loop, she has a different life but with the same ending, where she eventually died by the events triggered by the war. In her 6th time loop, where she lived as a knight, died by the hands of crown prince Arnold Hein – the man who waged the war. After losing her life like this every time, she decides to live a long and carefree life in her 7th time and not care much. The decision that ultimately binds her fate with her grim reaper of her 6th time loop – Arnold Hein. She gets a marriage proposal from the Crown Prince Arnold of Galkhein, who just seems to be quite opposite of his demeanor in their previous loop interaction. She soon realizes that this man would wage a war in future that would ultimately take lots of lives but she still can make a difference by stopping the factors that would lead Arnold to wage a war in the country and ultimately saving everyone and herself in the process. Rishe put her aim to live a lazy life on a halt to plan this long but difficult task that could also help her to break this time loop. With all these thoughts in her mind and her past 6 lives experiences, she accepts the crown prince proposal and begins her journey in her 7th time loop!
Enough buildup for me to join the loop :
This was enough for me to grab this anime loop train, and I binged watched the anime as the plot moves quite fast. Moreover, Rishe’s life skillsets that she learned in her previous loops made her wise and skilled person that amazes every character that she comes across. I think reliving a life again and again with all the skillsets and knowledge intact is quite a dream for many. You don’t have to learn maths or programming again because you’ve already done the deed in your previous incarnation. Jokes apart! the anime has no boring episode and amazing scenes with beautiful scenery and equally beautiful characters. The dresses, fashion, and use of political, diplomatic and socio-economic instances really make it an interesting and enjoyable watch.
Apart from Rishe and Arnold, other characters like Oliver, Kaine, Michel, and other supporting characters seem like gems bind together and, of course, the plot.

Although, at times, the story seems quite extravagant but still doesn’t break out of the plot, and 12 episodes don’t seem long at all. It such a relief that they didn’t stretch the story unnecessarily and gave it good pause.
I’m no critique, so I don’t have that expert views on this one, but as an anime fan and a dedicated viewer, I really enjoyed this one and find it as fun watch. Can’t wait for next season. Thank you to the instafam for recommending such a nice piece.
